COURSE DESCRIPTION:

          Technology Systems is an applied exploratory course designed to introduce students to the concepts of technology and its impacts.  This course is taught with modules (stations).  Technology resources, processes, management, and products are studied in the areas of energy, communications, productions, manufacturing, and construction technologies.  Conventional and computer equipment is used as students test, analyze, design, construct or manufacture.  Many fun and interesting areas of technology are included in this course.  Some of these include: internet use, web page development, plastics, pen-making, computer graphics, bridge-building, Sim City, screen-printing (making T-shirts), flight simulation, CNC, rocketry, CAD, and many more.
