                        6627 (SEMESTER)

DESCRIPTION:    Using  the latest technologies in manufacturing, students will transform materials into usable products.  Input-process-output system is used in this course to complete projects.  Students will use computers and software, as well as, other technologies to accomplish class assignments.  Students will be required to complete safety training for the use of tools and equipment.  Students will work with various materials, such as, wood, metal, plastics, textiles, etc.  Internet use is an important part of course.         Mass-production method will be utilized to manufacture selected projects.  Excellent work activities include: Plastics design, robotics, pen-making, CO2 vehicles, rocketry, T-shirt designing, inventions, woodworking, metalworking, and problem-solving.
