Yoeman

Welcome to another exciting year at Lee High School.  Caprica Wells, the assistant principal for L House.  My journey begins in the big city of Cameron, Texas (5700 people) I graduated from C. H. Yoe High School in 1993. Go Yoemen!

Temple

Temple Junior College was the next exit where I received my Associates Degree.  It is now known simply as Temple College.

Texas State

Stopping at Southwest Texas State was an awesome experience that opened my world and motivated me to be everything and to help others to share this paradigm.  This university has recently changed it’s name to Texas State University.  What is with all my schools changing their names after I leave???

John Jay Mustangs

My first and only teaching experience was at John Jay High School for seven years; I also coached the Lady Mustangs for these seven years.  It was during this time that I decided to attend Texas A&M in Kingsville and received a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

Lee Volunteers

This paved the way to working here at Lee High School where the educational journey continues.  My desire is to help the students, teachers, and staff to continue to strive for excellence and be the best that they can be.  When you know better, you do better.

Lee and Family

I am happily married to Nathaniel, Sr. and have two wonderful children:  Nathaniel, Jr. and NaTori.  I am also a faithful and active member of Faith Worship Center.

I look forward to exploring another rewarding year with you,

Caprica Wells

CONCEIT

Give me your hand
Make room for me to lead and follow you beyond this rage of poetry
Let others have the privacy of touching words and love of loss of love
For me, give me your hand

DREAMS

Hold fast to dreams for it dream die
Life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams for when dreams go
Life is a barren field frozen with snow.
