San Antonio's Robert E. Lee High School is one of six comprehensive high schools in the suburban North East Independent School District. With 2500 students and 200 professional staff members on campus, Lee H.S. is accredited by the Texas Education Agency.  
The school provides a differentiated curriculum with three level of instruction allowing teachers to present course materials to meet the unique needs and abilities of their students. College Board Advanced Placement Courses are offered in English III AP, English IV AP, Calculus AP/Honor Biology II AP/Honors, Chemistry II AP, Physics AP, Computer Science II AP, Art AP, US History AP . German, Spanish, French, and Latin are offered through a fifth year level. The AP and upper level language courses allow students to experience college-level coursework.

Gifted and Talented programs are offered in mathematics and English. Pre-AP courses are offered in all core areas. Resource programs are offered to students who qualify for special programs. Career Education offerings include various lab, shop, and cooperative work programs. Vocational programs are also offered for the handicapped. The school year consists of two 18-week semesters, beginning in August and ending late May. Most classes meet every other day for 90-minute periods. The teacher/ student ratio is approximately 1/25. The 163-member professional staff all hold Bachelors Degrees, and many have earned Masters Degrees.
  • NESA - Lee High School plays host to the gifted and talented North East School of the Arts (NESA) offering several majors: Cinema, Creative Writing, Dance, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre, and Visual Arts.
  • ISA- Lee High School also hosts the International School of the Americas with an emphasis on global, cultural understanding.
