My name is Jenny White and I was raised in San Antonio, TX. I am the proud mother of two grown boys of which my oldest decided to follow his mother’s footsteps and become a teacher.
I graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville in 2004 with an undergraduate degree and in 2008 with a master's degree in Education. I have 9 years teaching experience at the middle school level in the area of Reading/Language Arts. Previous to my teaching experience I was employed as an administrative assistant to the principal from 1991 – 2004.
My job, as an instructor, is to create an atmosphere that fosters learning. Learning takes place in many different circumstances and contexts. Although everyone is capable of learning, a student's desire to learn is a vital pre-condition to effectively mastering new concepts and skills. One of the most important concepts I hope to impart to students is that learning is a process that never ends.
This is my eleventh year teaching at Krueger Middle School and my thirteenth year teaching. I attended Walzem Elementary, Krueger Middle School, and Roosevelt High School. I then graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a minor in computer science. Prior to teaching at Krueger, I taught English for a couple of years at Pearsall High School. In 2004, I made my way back to Krueger.
SCIENCE / ROCKETRY
Hello everyone! I am a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a minor in Secondary Education. This is my seventeenth year teaching science. On my free time I enjoy family time with my two daughters. I love nature so I try to spend as much time possible outdoors enjoying it. The science teacher in me will usually find something that I can take back to the classroom and share with my students in a lesson or an off topic exciting discussion. Showing the students that science is in everything is the best part of my job!
I graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi, with a BA in history which included an emphasis in social studies. My teaching certificates include social studies composite 8-12, history 4-8, and special education. I love social studies!
Hello everyone! My name is Kyle Robison and this is my 7th year as an educator. I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX in the Spring of 2009. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns, and I look forward to working with the fantastic families involved in this program. Let’s grow.
“I have been teaching at Krueger Middle School since 2012. I graduated from Oliver Wendell Holmes High School here in San Antonio. I received my bachelor's degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas. I graduated with three separate majors: Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, and Behavioral Science. Before I became a teacher, I worked closely with Child Protective Services in a foster care agency for 2 years. I then worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer here in Bexar County for a little over 9 years.
I have been a teacher since 2008 and have taught all middle school grades. In addition to teaching Technology Applications, I have also taught Math here at Krueger. I have been looking forward to teaching technology with great anticipation. This year, in 6K's "Exploring Multimedia", I am looking forward to empowering my students to stretch their technology prowess using all available and allowable resources and incorporating collaborative learning. We'll be exploring Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender 3D Animation creation, MIT's App Builder, and program coding (primarily snap block), and programming logic.”
I retired with 21 years in the U.S. Army. I received a BS in Occupational Education and an MBA. I've worked for NEISD and KSAT for 14 years. My hobbies include collecting model Porsches and building medieval armor

Hi! My name is Mrs. Olivarez and I am the 7th grade KSAT Science Teacher. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Texas State University in San Marcos. I love to travel throughout Texas, the United States, and the world. I want to bring my love for exploring the natural world to my students. I have enjoyed gazing at stars at the McDonald Observatory, picking wildflowers in the Texas Hill Country and rock hounding in the Llano Region. 7th grade science focuses on life science so I have the opportunity to build the foundation for High School Biology for my students. Most of my students will remember their time with me because me get to dissect frogs!
I am originally from Texas, but have lived in San Diego, CA where I attended Cuyamaca College and earned an Associate's Degree in Education. I also lived in Olympia, Washington where I attended Evergreen State College and completed most of my upper graduate courses in Education. I have a Bachelors of Business in Information Technology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. The 2015-2016 school year, I was honored to be chosen Teacher of the Year for the AC Jones High School in Beeville.
I LOVE TECHNOLOGY! I love teaching the how and why it works, but the best part is seeing the creativity that comes from the students. They are our future and they are shaping it every day.
Extracurricular activities are a perfect addition to a student’s learning. I have been fortunate to take students to National competitions in Business Professional of America for 6 years running. I hope to continue this winning tradition at Krueger with the CyberPatriot club on campus. The skills of teamwork will be a worthwhile pursuit for all the students involved. CyberPatriot is open to all students at Krueger! I look forward to meeting all parents and students this year.
I am KSAT's 8th grade high-powered rocketry instructor. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1998 and this is my 10th year with the KSAT program. For the past 9 years I have been a coach for the Science UIL team for 6th, 7th and 8th grade. I obtained my level one rocketry certification in 2007 and my level two in 2014! Having grown up right across the street from NASA-Johnson Space Center in Houston, I have had a long-standing interest in the field of aerospace science.
After attending Bradley Middle School, I graduated from MacArthur High School and UTSA. I began my teaching career at Horace Mann Middle School. I taught Language Arts, directed the One-Act Play, and was the UIL Coordinator there for two years. I then came back to North East, teaching 6th grade Reading at Krueger. I have taught English for the 16 years since then.
I have taught a total of 11 years. Prior to coming to Krueger Middle School, I was a classroom teacher and worked in central office at Northside Independent School District, where I wrote science curriculum for the district and provided staff developments to teachers and principals. In addition, I have a strong background in Science. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Biology and Chemistry and a Master's of Education from Our Lady of the Lake University. I also graduated with Master's in Biology from University of Incarnate Word. In 1999, I returned to California and worked in the social work field, serving foster children with Child Protective Services and in the Juvenile Dependency Courts in Riverside County. While working in this area, my interest in teaching history surfaced again and again. In 2012, my family and I moved to Texas and I began my career in teaching and the rest is history (U.S. History, that is!). I have been teaching at NEISD since 2012 and this year will mark my second full year at Krueger Middle School.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Mathematics from the University of Texas at San Antonio. This is my 10th year at Krueger. During the majority of my 17 years with Northeast ISD, I have taught 8th grade pre-Algebra, Algebra I, both pre-AP and GT. I have also supervised an Independent Study for 8th grade Geometry students. I enjoy serving as the 8th grade KSAT Algebra I teacher because our program is a project-based curriculum and students are held to a high level academic standard. I know that together we can accomplish great things!
