Student Launch Initiative Homepage

In 2007, the KSAT Team America rocketry team went to compete in Washington D.C. against 100 other schools. We placed 19th in that competition and have since been invited to participate in NASA's student launch initiative in Hunstville, Alabama. The students and teachers participating in this challenge have been awarded $2500 dollars by NASA to build a rocket that will fly 1 mile and carry a payload designed to measure ozone levels in the atmosphere.
