A Little About Me
My name is Sophia Correll and I am 13 years old. I am in tumbling, which is where you learn how to do flips and jumps. I have been in cheer leading before but not now. In the summers I swim with the Windcrest Dolphins. I like to play volleyball. In fact I was on the A team volleyball team here at Krueger.
I'm in the KSAT program in 7th grade. We have a special class where we build and learn about rockets. We also have a multi-media class where we build web pages, like this one, and we use the Gimp, Blender and other programs like those.
I am in Girlscouts and have been since I was a daisy. I have one younger sister and an older half brother. My sister and I fight, but most of the time we get along. I barley get to see my half brother because he moved out. I have one cat named Bubby. He is lazy and annoying, but I love him.
I am always listening to music. I pretty much like all types of music except for country. Listening to country music gets on my nerves. Sometimes my uncle will take me and my cousins to the Animal Defense League where we walk animals, clean their cages, and just have a good time. After that we normally go to eat McDonalds which is really good. It is probably one of my favorite fast food places that are close to my house.
I really like the Krueger KSAT program. In the KSAT program, we have projects. Some are harder than others and we have check points in each class having to do with the same project. I have told my little sister about some of the things she should expect here. She is going to come to Krueger and join the KSAT program next year. I think she will like it as much as I do because she likes working with rockets and computer programs like we do now. We learn about graphic design, make videos, which is cool because you get to record either yourself or your friends as they read from a script they wrote in another class.
