  • My Biome

    I made this biome for science class as part of our integrated project. I was assigned the Tropical Rainforest and had to create a model of what the environment looks like. We had to research facts about our biome and include 3 plants and 3 animal that would live there.

  • Plants and Animals

    The tropical rainforest is home to almost 50% of all species on Earth. There are Tigers, Monkeys, Alligators, Orchids, Coconut Trees, Durian Trees, and much more. This is due to the abudance of rainfall that the forest recieves.

  • Location and climate

    Rainforests are located in Southeast Asia, Africa, Central America, South America, and Australia. The average temerature ina tropical rainforest is between 63°F and 93°f and it can recieve abywhere from 50 to 260 inches of rain. It can also get very humid, ranging from 77% and 88%.
