My Biome Project

The trees and bamboo were made with clay and painted with acrylic paint. The water is taped aluminium foil bordered with stones and covered with shades of blue tissue paper. The grass is shades of green tissue paper. The animals are simply toys. The vines are actually green yarn. And finally, moss provided by Global Floral.

Animal Adaptations

  • ChimpanzeeChimpanzees have sharp canines to show off in a "grin" to ward off predators, or can also be used to catch prey such as other monkeys and small deer.
  • Bengal TigerBengal Tigers have strong jaws to clamp their jaws down on their prey in a vice-like grip. Their sharp canines help them rip their prey with ease.
  • Africa Forest ElephantAfrica Forest Elephants have thick ivory tusks and strong trunk for defense. The elephants are also very crucial for a rainforests survival. The seeds of these trees will only grow once they have passed through the elephant's digestive system.
