Description: This course follows the College Board Advanced Placement guidelines in preparation for the AP exam through which students may receive college credit. This course includes study in five general areas of classical and modern physics: Newtonian mechanics, fluid mechanics and thermal physics, electricity and magnetism, waves and optics and atomic and nuclear physics. Knowledge of algebra and basic trigonometry is required for this course.
