Description: This course integrates the disciplines of Physics and Chemistry at the introductory level. Topics studied include: force and motion; waves; energy transformations; properties of matter; changes in matter and solution chemistry. Students conduct field and laboratory investigations, use scientific methods during investigations and make informed decisions using critical thinking and scientific problem solving. This course is not recommended for students who have successfully completed Chemistry or Physics.
