Description: This course follows the College Board Advanced Placement guidelines in preparation for the AP exam through which students may receive college credit. Concepts presented at the college level include: inorganic and organic chemistry, quantitative and qualitative analysis, reaction rates and thermodynamics. The laboratory program will present both confirmatory activities and inquiry investigations. Through laboratory experiences, students will gain an operational definition of the concepts and principles of chemistry.
