Drew, Sean, Anthony, Taylor under a Ponderosa Pine outside our hotel (Indian Hills).  We arrived in Taos at 8:00AM Central Time, before our rooms were open.  We had breakfast outside and decided to head for the Rio Grande Gorge. Buffalo painting on the outside of Lawrence’s cabin, painted by Trinidod Achulera in 1934. This is the Lawrence Tree, outside the cabin Lawrence would spend months writing, on the Lawrence Ranch.  Georgia O’keefe, a friend of D.H.Lawrence, painted the tree and gave it the name the Lawrence tree.

Found Rabbit at Lawrence Ranch From outside a broken window on Lawrence ranch, peering into the cabin where Lawrence would write.  Directly in front of the chair is the Lawrence Tree O’Keefe painted.  The cabin was a small two-room cabin where he and his wife Frida would stay
