PRUDE RANCH TRIP UPDATE!!!! Important Due Dates: Friday, January 28 $100.00 deposit ISA Travel Authorization and Health Form Prude Ranch Permission/Medical/Liability Release and Prude Ranch Pledge and Student Conduct Friday, February 18 $50.00 Final Deposit Tuesday, March 1 Be at ISA with luggage by 8:00 AM Leave for Prude Ranch, McDonald Observatory Wednesday, March 2 Prude Ranch, Big Bend, Historic Fort Davis Thursday, March 3 Prude Ranch, Big Bend, Historic Fort Davis Friday, March 4 Return to ISA by 4:00 PM ITEMS TO BRING: A sack lunch with drink for Tuesday, March 1 You are limited to one bag plus sleeping bag/pillow!! Appropriate attire, layered clothing (warm days and cold nights) (school rules apply) (prepare for horseback riding, challenge/ropes course, hiking, swimming) Jacket, hat, gloves, neck scarf Water bottle (must have!) Work gloves (Big Bend) Good walking or hiking shoes (flip flops/sandals are okay, but you will want more in Big Bend and hiking around the ranch) Sleeping bag, pillow or other bedding (prepare for twin size bunk beds) Personal hygiene items (DEODORANT) Towel and washcloth Swimsuit (We will have access to a nice indoor, heated pool.) Card games, board games Cameras, telescopes, binoculars Money for snack/soda vending Money for fast food lunch on return trip to San Antonio ITEMS NOT TO BRING: Cell phone, Walkie-talkies Radio, CD player, IPOD Electronic games Do not bring items that are not allowed on campus such as knives of any kind, weapons, illegal drugs, or alcohol. MEDICATION: All medications should be listed on the medical form and given to the Junior Team Medical Officer prior to departure.
