Last Years YWLC
Last year's conference was a huge success!! With 4 schools and 12 presenters everyone seemed to learn a little more about women in our community and society.
The following list contains summaries of the past rooms we've had at the Young Women's Leadership Conference.
Griselda Vrooman
“What’s Love have to do with it?”
The session was about the top ten lessons of life. Experts were polled to find out what the lessons young adults need to know to assist them through life. I am sure you have heard some of the lessons of life, but I guarantee that you haven’t heard all of them.
ISA PALS
Relationships
The International School of the Americas PAL team highly values the opportunity to educate others about the issues of today. Using different methods of learning, they facilitated a discussion about how to build and maintain a healthy relationship. Participants were actively involved in the session
Graciela Contreras and Melissa Rodriguez

They presented materials for their Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) and Saturday Morning Science Camps (SMEC). These programs target high school aged students and middle school students. In addition, they presented information about college applications, financial aid, and health career information
Judge Nancy Nowak

Judge Nowak spoke on the topic of “choices” addressing both personal and career. She gave various examples of choices she had to face in her personal life. She also shared advice and helpful tips with the students in order to help them for when they are faced with the same choices in their lives.
