Our population is currently 1,144,646 (one million, one hundred forty-four thousand, six hundred forty-six) people. These people take up about 417 square miles (1080 square kilometers).

Ethnicities in San Antonio are very diverse. We have a mostly Hispanic population. We also have Caucasian, Asian, Spanish, and African American people.

San Antonio supports about every major religion created. It also has a few cults – separate religions believed by 10 local people or more.

Languages:

Languages in San Antonio are very diverse as well. Western Spanish and English are very popular. Some people even mix Western Spanish and English to speak what is called Tejano or Spanglish.

            Some people in San Antonio speak Japanese, Chinese, German, and some other European or Asian languages.

In Spanish, this is how you would introduce yourself:
