TCADA Conference
On November 15-17, 2001, the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCADA) held its annual conference in Austin. During the awards ceremony, TCADA recognized various individuals and organizations around the state working to improve their communities through drug and alcohol education and prevention efforts. The PAL program of North East ISD  was recognized as a recipient of one of the Community Champions Awards. Some of the PALs from ISA were in attendance at the conference, and they accepted the award on behalf of our district.
