I am Roman, seventeen years old student of school and life.  I was born to the most wonderful parents imaginable.  I am very thankful to them for all the love and support.  I was born in Slovakia and I will continue to live there, after I return from the USA. because I think that my country is wonderful and will be very successful in the future. I like to joke around and have a good time instead of always being serious.  I am very sensitive, I do not get irritated easily and very rarely in bad mood.

In my country there have been many people who have had an influence on my life.  My family, friends and teachers all have affected my life in some way.  My parents are very important persons in my life.  I love my parents my mom is very special person.  My dad taught me that I must take responsibility for all my life and actions.  A piece of advice I often received from my dad is:  as long as I do my best, I will have success. 

 In my country I attend business high school.  I like my school and I think that high school is very important time in person’s life.  This is the time to set goals and to find solutions.  Maybe one my solution was the AFS program in the USA.  One of my goals is to graduate high school in my country and later college. 

I would like to become an attorney or businessman like my father.  Studying English has always been my hobby.  In my opinion English is most popular language in the world.  The knowledge of English allows me to communicate with people from other countries and learn about their culture and it will also assist me in practical ways.  Everybody wants to know how to speak English.  So why not me?  However, I am in the USA now and I try learning English.  I hope that me English will be fluent when I go back to my country because the English language is very important for my life and to the future.  In my opinion if someone wants to learn English he needs to study hard and after a period time it will come to them.
