Curriculum
The International School of the Americas provides an honors curriculum with four grade levels of instruction. Teachers present course materials to meet the unique needs and abilities of the students through both traditional and non-traditional teaching methods. College Board Advanced Placement Courses are offered in English Language, English Literature, U.S. History, Government, Economics, Calculus, Biology II, Chemistry II, Physics II, and Spanish Language. Gifted and Talented programs are offered in Mathematics and English. Extra curricular, foreign language (other than Spanish and Japanese), Speech, Art, Theater, Computer, Physical Education, and Career and Technology courses are offered through the Robert E. Lee High School, where the International School of the Americas is located.

Grading:
Students are required to maintain a minimum average of 80%. Students
receive honors weighting for most ISA courses. Exceptions to the honors
weighting are Spanish I and Algebra I.
Library:
Students at the International School of the Americas have the opportunity to engage in student research through the Robert E. Lee High School Library. The library offers a wide variety of opportunities for research including an on-line card catalog, computer resources, video-conferencing, and student research resources such as books and periodicals.
