Special Education at Huebner is offered on a continum of services for children who have a disablity and demonstrate academic need. This support can range from monitoring, inclusion, co-teach in the regular education classroom, pull-out following the direct teach, pull-out for an entire subject area, and pull-out for the day or part of the day. The type of support is determined at an ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meeting when a child has qualified for the support.
If your child is currently receiving support in another school, please contact one of our counselors or the Special Education Contact person to set up a meeting to help with the transition to our school. If you feel your child may need this type of support, please contact his or her teacher or the counselor. They would be happy to answer your questions. If your child is not in school yet, please contact the speech pathologist for our campus.
