Library Policies
Everyday is library day at Huebner!

Huebner Library offers its students and teachers flexible access by being open throughout the entire school day.  Students are encouraged to visit the library individually, in a group, or as a class as often as needed.

 

Checkout Limits:

Kinder - 1 book for 1 week
(2 with teacher's permission)

1st Grade - 2 books for 1 week
(3 with teacher's permission)

2nd Grade - 2 books for 1 week
(3 with teacher's permission)

3rd Grade - 2 books for 2 weeks
(3 with teacher's permission)

4th thru 5th Grades - Up to 5 books for 2 weeks (Depending upon teachers' requirements)

Parents - 5 books
(Must create parent account on first checkout)
 
In our library, we do not charge fines for late books.  However, we do charge for book damages and lost books.  These charges may include the cost of replacing the book.  Students may not check out additional books until an overdue book is returned or a damaged or lost book is paid for.
