Message from the Principal
Welcome to the
2008-2009 school year! I am excited about the many possibilities for
learning, creating and making new friends.
Our theme continues to be Huebner’s where the heart is…where
emotion, will and intellect come together.
Our motto is …we will be loving and
kind by taking care of ourselves, taking care of others and taking care of our
school.
We strive to challenge our students with a stimulating curriculum and environment with a focus on literacy – a love of reading and writing and a curiosity about their world through experimentation and exploration in Science, Math and Social Studies.
Parent volunteers are always welcome and an integral part of enriching the lives of our students through tutoring, by assisting teachers in our burgeoning Science Lab, reading to students or creating new materials for teachers.
It is a joy to see parents and community members volunteering at school in so many different areas. We are grateful to have so many "helping hands" that help make Huebner a school of excellence.
I am extremely grateful to be the principal at Huebner where I work every day with an outstanding, enthusiastic staff, engaging and helpful parents and children full of life who are excited about learning.
