About the Library... The Hidden Forest
Library/Learning Resources Center is available to all students and staff every
school day, from 7:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. In addition to the hundreds of books
lovingly selected, the library is also a showcase for student collections,
special edition books, and readers. Our experienced librarian gathers the
youngest students and reads to them frequently, and, as the students advance,
she helps them hone their research and exploratory skills. The librarian also
coordinates the Accelerated Reading Program, Book Fair, and the popular
PTA-sponsored Visiting
Author Program. Students are invited to join the Texas Readers Club and join in the voting for The Texas Bluebonnet Award. The library staff is happy to announce our technology upgrade, and access to the Internet as we move into the 21st century!
