Rope for Heart
This year students at Hidden Forest Elementary have raised
over $10,400 dollars for the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for
Heart campaign. Braiden Sigler, a kindergartner, raised the most money which was
$325 dollars. Being the student to raise the most, Braiden became Principal for
the Day on March 9, 2007! Congratulations to Braiden and all the boys and
girls for doing such an outstanding job raising money for an Outstanding

Teacher Appreciation Week
Our Hidden Forest PTA and students have gone above and
beyond in showing how much they appreciate the teachers and staff during
the week of February 12-16th. On Monday, teachers were greeted by the
sweet smell of flowers in which their students gave them as well as the
taste of scrumptious M&Ms on our desks. Tuesday was a fruity day when
teachers were given baskets which were filled with yummy fruits. Teachers
even got to walk on the RED CARPET into
school feeling as if we were stars. Notes of appreciation and love were
given on Wednesday as an added bonus to Valentine's Day. Thursday brought
special gifts from students. Tuesday and Friday was the most relaxing day
of all for teachers with soothing massages.
There were also drawings for special
certificates and prizes from PTA which included gift cards and even
homemade cookies and meals.
Thank you to the PTA, the parents, and
students for making us feel like a million bucks! |
