Harris Orchestra Happenings
The Harris Orchestra will be participating in two upcoming activities. The Regional Orchestra Clinic and Concert will begin on December 4th at Reagan High School. The Orchestra UIL Meet will be on Saturday December 5th. Please contact Ms. Nixon for more details.

Harris Artists Shine Again
Congratulations to Harris artists who competed in the city-wide San Antonio Christmas Card Contest. Christen Engleberth won 1st place out of over 1400 entires. Honorable mention awards went to Holly Brown and Tina Ngyuen. On display at the San Antonio Parks and Recreation office as part of the 100 Outstanding entries are works by Alyssa Curry, Lexis Leyva, and Rachel Darby.

Blue Santa Toy Drive
Blue Santa will visit Harris to accept donations of unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages. The drive is sponsored by the San Antonio Police Department and all donations will go to families in our area. Please bring donations to Mr. Goldberg's room by December 11th.

Magnet Schools to Visit Harris
Representatives from all NEISD magnet schools will visit Harris on Friday, December 4th. They will present information to Harris 8th graders about their programs and the possibility of involvement as next year begins.

Harris Parent/Student Book Club
The Harris Library is hosting the 2nd Annual Parent Student Book Club.  Parents and students can connect together in a new way and receive a free pair of books for each reading selection.  For more information contact Ms. Downen (rdowne@neisd.net).
