I am proud to be apart of the Harris Middle School faculty as we embark on a new school year. I have been apart of NEISD first as a student,then as an employee for more than 40 years.  I am a graduate of Churchill HS and graduated from UTSA with a magna cum laude BA in History and certification to teach in 2000. I  spent 5 years (2 as Social Studies dept. chair) at Nimitz Middle school before accepting the position of dept. chair for the Social Studies dept. at Harris. I graduated with my Masters degree in Educational Leadership in May 2012. In July 2012, I accepted the position of Academic Dean.  I have a wonderful husband of 21 years and 2 daughters.  When not on campus or attending related functions, you can find me at the home,gym, or spending time with family and friends.  I look forward to my seventh year at Harris Middle School as we continue to create a campus we can all be proud of.
