Mr. Allen Pruiett

 

Mr. Allen Pruiett, Assistant Principal

Mr. Pruiett received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University, Kingsville. He taught all of the social studies subjects at the high school level. In addition to teaching, Mr. Pruiett coached two sports and sponsored several competitive academic teams. His career in education began at Harlandale ISD and he joined NEISD in 1995.

Mr. Pruiett and his wife have two boys living at home.   Austin Lee graduated from Churchill High School in 2009.  He became an Eagle Scout in 2009 and currently attends Northwest Vista.  Sean Lee is a sophomore at Churchill where he plays football and is a member of the wrestling team.   Both young men are active in Boy Scouts and enjoy all outdoor sports. Mrs. Pruiett teaches Marketing at Churchill High School. The family has two boxers, Daisy and Winston.  They have two Siamese cats, Abigail and Maggie.  Austin rescued a small hunting dog, Anabelle.  She continues to test the family’s patience and boundaries. 

During summer vacations and when weather permits, the family spends time on the local area lakes. They also enjoy the Frio River near Leakey, Texas where they fish and hunt during the year.

Mr. Pruiett enjoys working with the finest students and teachers in San Antonio here at Harris Middle School.
