Wanted: Green Team Members
Miss Windwehen is looking for some awesome Harris Hawks to become part of the Green Team. This group meets as an elective class and oversees the Harris garden and other "green" initiatives on campus. Applications will be due on Friday, May 25th. For more information, please see Ms. Windwehen in room D105.
Harris Band Sweeps TLU Music Festival
The Harris Honors, Symphonic/Concert, and Beginning Bands all competed in the TLU Music Festival on Saturday, May 19th. All Harris Bands received Outstanding Performance Awards from all three judges. This is the highest rating awarded at the contest. Congratulations to the Harris Bands!
Harris Yearbook Sales to Wrap Up Soon
Sales for the 2011-2012 Harris yearbook will close soon as the school year comes to an end. Online sales (click the banner below) will close on Sunday May 27th. Students may purchase a yearbook on campus during lunches during the week of May 21st. Cost of the book is $40. Payment for campus sales may be made by check, cash, or credit card. Get yours while supplies last! All yearbooks will be distributed on the last day of school.
Summer Recreation Program
Harris Middle School will be hosting a summer recreation camp for the month of June. the camp is open to students ages 7-13 and will be held June 4 through June 29 from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Registration is $85 per child for the entire camp. Forms can be picked up from the Harris office or printed by clicking here. For more information please contact Coach Keogh.
