Continued Accolades for NHD Team
Recently the Harris National History Day team took its qualifying projects to the state contest in Austin. In the contest, Harris 6th grader Angela C. brought home 2nd place with her individual exhibit on the San Antonio Flood of 1921. Angela has qualified to compete in the national contest in June. (Click here for full press release.) 8th grader Gabrielle M. was recognized as the writer of an outstanding paper on the Titanic. In fact, the Texas State Historical Commission has chosen to publish her work. Way to go Hawks!
Library Books Due at Harris
The Harris library is closing up shop for the 2012-13 school year. ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE by Friday, May 24th. Students with outstanding books or fines will see those carry forward if they are not resolved this school year. For more information please contact Mrs. Darilek in the library.
PE Uniform and Summer Recreation Forms
The Harris Athletics Department will once again host a Summer Recreation Program beginning June10th for children ages 7 through 13. Please click here for the registration form.
