Student Newspaper Photo Contest


The Harris Online Newspaper is hosting a student photography contest. The contest boasts cash prizes for the best original photos turned in. All entries are due to Ms. Tindol by Thursday, February 12th. For more infomation, please contact Ms. Tindol or visit the Hawk Eye News website.


The Hawk's Roost has Moved!


Because of the high demand and awesome success of the Hawk's Roost, it is moving to a larger venue. Beginning on Thursday, January 22nd, the Roost will be held in the 7th Grade CLC. The Hawk's Roost is open each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm until 5:00pm for students to get help on homework and other assignments from teachers from each subject. Join us at the Roost!


Harris Health & Wellness Festival


On Friday, March 27th from 5:00pm-8:00pm, Harris Middle School will host its annual Harris Community Health and Wellness Festival, which includes food, entertainment, health & wellness information and screenings/demos, games, and prizes! The entire community is invited to participate in fun activities such as dodgeball, Zumba, Laser Tag, and Tennis Swing. We will also have a variety of food booths and live entertainment. Come to the Harris campus and join us for an evening of food, fun, and fitness! This year we will have SA Airlife, Baptist Health System Mobile Clinic and much more!! Come out and join us!


Blood Drive Coming to Harris


Harris Middle School will be hosting a blood drive during the Health and Wellness Festival on Friday, March 27, 2015. To ensure the success of our blood drive, we need to have 20 participants sign up before the event. Times will be available between 3:00pm and 7:00pm.
