New Student Registration

Registration Information: Beginning 8/6/08
                                     Office hours: 7:30-3:30
 
Please come to school to fill out registration packet.

  3. Both the parent/guardian and student must be present to register. If the natural parent is not present, legal guardianship must be provided. For additional information, contact NEISD Pupil Personnel Office at (210) 804-7070. 

Documentation Required:
North East Independent School District (NEISD) requires the following the following documents for student registration. Provide original documentation. We will make copies.
Proof of Residence:
  • Proof of residence for a house is a current City Public Service (CPS) of San Antonio Water System (SAWS) bill. If a utility bill for a new house is not available, settlement papers will be accepted on a temporary basis. A utility bill must be furnished within 30 days of registration.
  • Proof of residence for an apartment is a current lease with the student listed as an occupant. If the student is not listed on the lease, a letter from the apartment manager stating that the student is a resident must be attached to the lease.
  • NOTE: If the student and parent/guardian live in the residence of a third party, the owner/renter of the residence must provide proof of residence as described above. Both the parent/guardian and the third party must be present at the time of registration to sign, an "Establishing Proof of Residence" form to be notarized by a school official.
Birth Certificate:
  • An original, certified, state-issued birth certificate is required at the time of registration. (Hospital birth certificates and/or baptismal certificates are not acceptable).
  • If an original birth certificate is not submitted, the parent/guardian has 30 days to provide the document. The student will be registered under the name that appears on the original birth certificate unless legal documentation granting a name change is provided.

Social Security Card:
  • An original Social Security Card is required at the time of registration. If you do not have a card, or need to replace a card, forms are available in the Counseling Office.

Immunization Records:
  • State law and North East policy require that all students be fully immunized and provide current proof of immunizations at the time of registration.

Withdrawal Paperwork:  Provide formal withdrawal papers, official transcripts, and/or a report card from the previous school.
Photo Identification of Individual Enrolling Student:  
The individual who accompanies the student to the registration appointment should provide their driver's license or Military I.D. Card for identification purposes
