DRESS POLICY

GIRLS Standard Dress Policy

• Solid navy or khaki pants, shorts, skort, skirt or dress jumper.

• Solid navy, white, or royal blue shirt or blouse with collar.*
  Visible undershirts must be white only.

• Spirit shirts from Garner or MacArthur may be worn any day of the week.*

• Students may wear jeans (blue or black) on Friday with a college shirt. The college shirt must represent an accredited college.
  
  *Shirts/blouses must have buttons and sleeves

*If undershirt or turtlenecks are worn, they must be solid white.

*Spirit shirts from campuses other than Garner or MacArthur may not be worn.

THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE:

• Excessively worn, torn, or frayed clothing

• Oversized clothing

• Writing on clothing

• Sagging pants

• Stripes

• Bandanas
  
  
• Exposed midriffs or low cut tops
  
  Walking shorts, skirt, skort, dress or jumper must be no shorter than finger tip length when arms are fully extended.
  
  Any clothing deemed inappropriate by an administrator because it is a distraction to learning will not be permitted.
