I am extremely excited to serve as principal of Garner Middle School. I have 18 years of educational experience. Prior to arriving at Garner, I was an assistant principal at both Reagan High School and Lee High School.

 

I moved to San Antonio in 2000 and started off in NEISD as a science teacher and coach at Bradley Middle School.  My educational career began in 1994 in Eagle Pass, TX as a science teacher and coach at both the junior high and high school levels.  I am a graduate of Borger High School, Hardin-Simmons University, and UTSA. I am married to my wife of 13 years, Cynthia, and we have 2 children – John David (5) and Mac (3). 

I promise to treat your child as I do my own children with firm, fair, and consistent discipline.  I will correct them as needed, encourage them often, and praise them when they do well. I look forward to meeting both you and your child and I know that we will have a great 2012-13 school year.
