Department Overview
The
School Nutrition Services department offers Breakfast and Lunch each day at 63
locations throughout the district. Each day approximately 8,800 breakfasts and
32,000 lunches are served. In addition to breakfast and lunch, students may
also choose from a variety of extra food items or desserts.
Elementary prices are $.90 for breakfast and $1.75 for lunch. Secondary prices
are $.95 for breakfast and $2.00 for lunch. Reduced price meals are $.30 for
breakfast and $.40 for lunch at all levels. Milk is $.40.
The school cafeterias offer a payment plan in all schools. Meals and ala carte
items may be purchased with this plan. Any amount may be deposited into the
student's account. The account is reduced each time an item is purchased.
Additionally, the school district participates in the free and reduced meal
program. Applications for the Free and Reduced Meal Program are available in
each school office, on the School Nutrition Services web site, or by contacting the School Nutrition Services
office at 657-8826.
