North East School of the Arts presents Broadway’s “Big Fat Hit Musical” HAIRSPRAY. Performance dates are November 7 – 9 & 14 – 16 at 7:30 pm, and November 10 & 17 at 2:30pm. All performances are at the Robert E. Lee High School Theater, 1400 Jackson Keller.

North East School of the Arts Presents Hairspray

In 1962 Baltimore, the lovable plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire -- to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network, all without denting her 'do!


Tickets are $10 reserved and $12 at the door. Tickets may be purchased on-line, at, from Oct 25 - Nov 2.  Box Office reservations begin Nov 5 (cash or check only). Box Office hours are Tues - Fri 4:30-6:00 pm.


Established in 1997 the North East School of the Arts is a magnet program located on the campus of Robert E. Lee High School.  Offering intensive training for gifted and talented students in the arts, NESA offers majors in Cinema, Creative Writing, Dance, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Tech Theatre, and Visual Arts.
