Join the Allied Campus Theatre as they present their first production of the 2013-2014 season "Elephant's Graveyard" by George Brant. Performances are on November 6, 7, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the ACT Black Box Theatre at Lee High School. Tickets are $5.00 each for all performances, and are available for purchase each night of the production at the door. For the first time ever, Allied Campus Theatre will be performing “in the round”, allowing the audience a 360 degree view as this dramatic story unfolds before their very eyes.
Set in September of 1916, Elephant’s Graveyard is the true tale of the collision between the struggling Spark's World Famous Circus, the railroad and a tiny town in Tennessee, which demands that an elephant be executed for killing one of its handlers. Combining historical fact and legend the play questions how good people can, if only for a moment, turn into monsters and how human thirst for spectacle can cause utter destruction.
