With a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, lyrics by Al Dubin, and music by Harry Warren, 42nd STREET is the ultimate Broadway fairy tale. Peggy Sawyer, a small town girl new to the big city, gets her chance to become an overnight Broadway sensation in this tap-dancing extravaganza, featuring such classic show-stoppers as We're in the Money, Lullaby of Broadway, Shuffle Off to Buffalo and the famous 42nd Street Ballet. Performance dates are November 1-3 and 8-10 at 7:30pm and November 4 and 11 at 2:30pm. All performances are at the Robert E. Lee High School Theatre, 1400 Jackson Keller.

Established in 1997 the North East School of the Arts is a magnet program located on the campus of Robert E. Lee High School. Offering intensive training for gifted and talented students in the arts, NESA offers majors in Cinema, Creative Writing, Dance, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Tech Theatre, and Visual Arts.
