North East School of the Arts proudly presents "Into the Woods," James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's fractured fairy tale musical, February 23-26 at the Robert E. Lee H.S. Theater.
"Into the Woods" tells the story of a baker and his wife who journey “into the woods” on a quest to lift a witch’s curse. Along the way they cross paths with Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Cinderella and an assortment of other fairy tale characters each pursuing individual wishes until their stories become entangled in unexpected ways.
Tickets are $8 reserved and $10 at the door and $20 Gold Patron seating (online only). Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.neisd.net/nesa/tickets Feb 10-18. Box Office hours are Tues - Fri 4:30-6:00 pm.
Performance dates are February 23-25 at 7:30pm and February 6, at 2:30pm.
Established in 1997 the North East School of the Arts is a magnet program located on the campus of Robert E. Lee High School. Offering intensive training for gifted and talented students in the arts, NESA offers majors in Cinema, Creative Writing, Dance, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Tech Theatre, and Visual Arts.
