Madison & Johnson Cheerleaders Make Cheer History

The Madison and Johnson cheerleaders made cheer history this weekend!  These two cheer squads were asked by the National High School STUNT Association to participate in a STUNT demonstration that was performed at the 2012 National High School Athletic Directors Conference at the Henry B. Gonzalez convention center.  The STUNT Association focuses on the more athletic aspects of cheerleading and wishes to create more opportunities for high school and college cheerleaders by promoting cheerleading as an actual athletic activity that is recognized by a governing body and scored in a “game-like” manner.  The Madison and Johnson cheerleaders were the first teams in Texas to participate in a STUNT game as recognized by the STUNT Association.
