Lopez Theatre Presents Cinderella

Lopez Drama presents Cinderella

Lopez Middle School will hold auditions for A Tale of Cinderella on September 21, 22, 23, and 24 from 3:45-5:30 in the cafetorium. 5th graders from Hardy Oak and Wilderness Oak Elementary schools are invited to audition on September 21. Details and audition packets will be sent to the schools soon. All Lopez theatre students are eligible to audition on September 22 & 23. Theatre students should sign up for one audition day only and see Mrs. Eanes  for audition information. Call back auditions will be held on September 24 for students on the final audition list to be posted Friday morning.

The performances will be November 11 at 4 & 7pm in the Lopez cafetorium. Tickets are $3 and will be on sale during all lunches the week of the show and at the door.

A Tale of Cinderella is a delightful new spin on the classic tale set in Venice, Italy including gondoliers, a masked ball, and “the godfather”. To find love and happiness, a self reliant, strong and beautiful Cinderella must overcome a powerful amuletto d'amore to free her father from her step mother's mysterious spell. A classic story, fascinating new characters and a joyful spirit of optimism, love and good humor make this an ideal show for the whole family.
