NEISD Students Named Winners in the City of San Antonio Holiday Card Contest
There were more than 1,400 entries from grades fourth to twelfth throughout the San Antonio area. There will be an award presentation ceremony honoring the overall winner; first, second and third place winners and the 35 Honorable Mentions on December 2, at 5:30 p.m. at the Ron Darner Parks and Recreation Headquarters, 5800 Old Hwy 90 West. Parents, family, friends, teachers, principals, and school administrators of the honorees are also welcome to attend.
Immediately following the awards ceremony honorees are invited to attend the appreciation party/art exhibition. Digital prints of the winning and Honorable Mention artwork along with the originals of the 100 entries selected as Outstanding Works will be displayed at the Parks and Recreation Headquarters, Ron Darner Facility, during the month of December. Original artwork of all winners and Honorable Mentions will be displayed at the San Antonio Childrens Museum located at 305 E. Houston during the month of December.
