DATE & Time: Feb. 5 at 1 and 7 p.m. and Feb. 6 at 2 p.m.
LOCATION: Johnson High School Auditorium

The Johnson Fine Arts Department is proud to present the all-American musical, Grease, Feb. 5 at 1 and 7 p.m. and Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. in the Johnson High School Theatre.  Tickets are $12 for reserved seating, $10 for general admission.  For reservations, call 210-356-0613.

The year is 1959. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper died in an airplane crash. The Grammys began. Barbie dolls were first introduced. American Bandstand was the rage and Rock N’ Roll was king. Travel back to this nostalgic time as Rydell High School’s rebellious, happy, thrill-loving students start a new year in the musical, Grease. Grease has a timeless quality that transcends 1959 and the age of rock. It is about friendships, coming of age and compromise. Beyond that…Grease is fun!
