Spirit Sticks Are Here!!!!

We have started a new incentive at ETH... Spirit Sticks! This is a great motivational tool for children. Each child received 2 spirit sticks. Spirit Sticks are for sale on Fridays in the cafeteria from 7:00-7:20 for $1.00 each.

Safe School Ambassadors (SSA)

We are a Safe School Ambassadors School. This is a school-wide program that helps prevent and stop mistreatment and violence among students. 30 4th & 5th graders are trained with the language, skills, and motivation to:

* Notice bullying and other hurtful actions among their peers in their school and neighborhood, and intervene to prevent, stop, or report it.

* Serve as cross-age mentors, leading a series of classroom activities at all grade levels that engage and equip all students with a foundation of social skills and relationships, so they treat others with kindness and respect and speak up when their peers don't.
