Directions:
1. Create a hotlist for the Synonym Website, Rhyme Zone.
2. Save the hotlist to the student server. Have the students access the hotlist in the computer lab.
3. Once at the site, have the students type in a word (either assigned by you, or chosen by them) and click on Look it Up.
4. The site will create a list of synonyms of the word. Have students take notes of the synonyms they like.
5. In Inspiration, have the students type their word in the Main Idea Bubble.
6. Have them turn on the Rapid Fire tool and type each word they got from the website, remembering to hit enter between each word.
7. After mapping all their words, have them create a sentence for each synonym and link the sentence to the corresponding word bubble using the linking tool. View a sample product!
