This month the Educational Technology Department shines its Spotlight on the following teachers:

Kacie Germadnick, 1st grade teacher at Bulverde Creek, is a wonderful example of a teacher who embraces technology. She looks for ways to integrate lessons with technology and has her 1st grade students using technology daily. Her students use Neos in learning stations for a variety of assignments. They demonstrate their learning in the computer lab by creating fun projects.  Kacie is creative and innovative in the way she implements technology with her students. She has blended the technology children are exposed to outside of school with the available resources she has in the classroom to give students a real-world exposure to technology. 

Kacie is a technology advocate not only on her campus but at district CTCC meetings as well. She understands the importance of technology for her 21st Century students and continues to enhance her own technology skills so she can meet the needs of these students.
