How do I find out about school events?

 

Look for information to come home Fridays in your child's folder.

Encino Park sends out frequent emails about upcoming events.

Check the homepage of the website for Upcoming Events.

Call or email your child's teacher. Teachers have classroom webpages with contact information listed on the page. You can find you teacher's webpage in Staff Directory.

 

How can I volunteer?

 

Parent involvement is encouraged and valued. Individuals will be given an array of opportunities to support the school. Parents can start by joining the PTA.

 

How do I register my child?

 

You can register your child online through NEISD's online registration link NEISD Online Registration You can also register in the Encino Park office. Please bring the following documnets for your child: Birth Certificate, Proof of Residence, Immunization Records, Social Security Card, Photo Identification of Parent/Guardian registering the child, Any Papers from Previous Campus.

 

How many children will be in my child's class?

 

NEISD follows the state mandate of 22 students per teacher in grades kindergarten through fourth grade. Fifth grade student to teacher ratio is 26 to 1. Once we exceed this ratio, a teacher is added to the grade level and a new class formed.
