MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree a plus Valid Texas Teacher certificate with required endorsement for subject and level assigned Proven success with At Risk students a plus Multiple certification a plus Strong organizational, interpersonal, technological and communication skills Minimum of three years (3) teaching experience a plus Experience in innovative curriculum a plus Experience in providing professional development a plus Valid Texas Driver's License with driving record that meets requirements of the District
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides continuous student support through activities such as advisory, mentoring, tutoring and extended hours Works as part of a collaborative team to develop, maintain and revise innovative STEM curriculum Works to integrate STEM concepts into district/state curriculum standards Participates in ongoing STEM professional development Establishes and maintains rapport with students, parents, staff members and community members Supports and advises students in extracurricular activities Plans and uses appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, technology, materials and equipment that reflects understanding of learning styles and needs of students assigned Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Nimitz MS (English/Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Technology Applications) Robert E. Lee HS (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Technology Applications)
SALARY:	Teacher Salary Schedule	PAY GRADE:	N/A	WORK SCHEDULE:	Eleven Months
