EMPLOYMENT BULLETIN

TEACHER/INTERNSHIP SERVICES LEARNING COORDINATOR
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF AMERICAS (ISA)
AT LEE HIGH SCHOOL

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university
Master Degree a plus
Valid Texas Teacher Certificate by State Board with Secondary Teaching Field (English Language Arts a plus) or ability to obtain certification
Valid Texas Driver's License with driving record that meets the requirements if the school district

MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promote access to and success in the internship experience for all students
Collaborates with campus community (students, teachers, administrators, parents) to develop a cohesive internship and service learning program
Develops, facilitate and support disciplinary and interdisciplinary units of study and grade-level portfolios that reflect the school's mission and graduate profile, including ISA's focus on international understanding and global citizenship
Collaborate with the leadership team to enact school-wide initiatives that support teacher and student learning and promote the on-going development of the school
Lead high school reform efforts with a focus on educational equity and social justice
Integrate and effectively use technology to promote student learning and international connections
Model intellectual curiosity and actively seek out resources for school-wide internship and service learning development
Serve as the academic advisor for a small group of students as part of the advisory program
Represent the school in district meetings, workshops, and initiatives as a liaison, advocate, and member of the larger district community
Facilitate and support ISA's work as a professional development school for Trinity University
Collaborate with and provide leadership to other high schools and networks with whom ISA works (e.g. Asia Society's ISSN, Coalition of Essential Schools), attend local and national conferences, and meet with visitors to ISA
Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

SALARY: Teacher Salary Schedule PAY GRADE: WORK SCHEDULE: Twelve Months
