MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree-Music Education Minimum of three (3) years of public music teaching experience a plus Valid Texas Teacher Certificate Valid Texas Driver's License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and implements the instruction in the choir program Coordinates the instruction process for choir students in concert/jazz, theory, appreciation/history classes Maintains accurate choir inventory, budget, maintenance, and general operation of all activities Supports all district policies regarding the welfare and education of students Coordinate the efforts of the choir booster organization Coordinate campus choir activities with campus programs, staff and community Prepare students for quality participation in UIL/TMEA sponsored events Participate in the professional development of personal teaching competencies Participate in professional organizations which foster and support music education Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
SALARY:	Teacher Salary Schedule Plus Stipend	PAY GRADE:		WORK SCHEDULE:	Ten Months
