IN SCHOOL SUSPENSION MONITOR

ED WHITE MIDDLE SCHOOL

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Completion of two years of study at a College or University of higher education and/or possess an Associates Degree or higher from a College or University
Three years experience as Educational Assistant or thirty semester hours of college with emphasis on child growth and development a plus
Paraprofessional Certification as required by the State Board and the District

MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises students referred and enforces the established rules for this program
Provides Assistance to students with work that has been provided
Ensures that students have work sent to them by their teachers
Monitors students to insure they remain on task and complete assigned work
Takes attendance and keeps all paperwork that comes from the office up to date
Maintains required records
Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

HOURLY:
$11.51-$14.39 PAY GRADE: I3 WORK DAYS: 179
