GROUNDSMEN I

FACILITY MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT DEPARMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) a plus One to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to pass physical and drug test Valid Texas Drivers License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the repair and installation of fences Assists in the installation set and repair of playground equipment Performs a full range of landscaping services to include watering, cultivating, trimming, edging grasses on general grounds and play areas Clears weeds, brush and undergrowth from wooded areas and fence lines Removes vines and other entwined vegetation from fence fabric by hand Assists in the pouring of concrete Mows and trims grass utilizing various hand, push and riding mowers and powered edger's Assists in the repair of asphalt Operates District vehicles as needed in the performance of assigned tasks Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
HOURLY:	$10.24-$12.64	PAY GRADE:	O2	WORK DAYS:	260
