TEST ANALYST
RESEARCH AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES DEPARTMENT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree or equivalent from a four year accredited college or university
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Texas Teacher Certification by the State Board
Valid Texas Driver License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District

MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the District Test Coordinator with the administration and implementation of policies regarding federal, state, and locally-mandated assessment standards to align to the state and federal accountability indicators
Help to ensure that District staff complies with all federal/state/local policies, rules and regulations related to assessment and accountability
Conduct workshops and training sessions on state assessment and accountability procedures, requirements, and changes for District personnel
Serve as an investigator for the District Test Coordinator on suspected violations of test security and confidential integrity as specified within state law
Help to coordinate, interpret and monitor the district-testing program for state and programmatic assessments
Assist the Coordinator in planning of the processes for distributing, collecting and disseminating assessments and results within the district
Ensure materials and pre-code labels for the state mandated testing program and applicable local standardized testing programs are obtained in a timely fashion
Coordinate the local CBE testing program which includes recouping of credit, credit/course validation and advanced placement testing (obtaining credit or grade placement without prior instruction) for all District campuses
Coordinates the distribution and collection of test materials to and from campuses
Provides training for appropriate campus test coordinators and designated staff in the security and administration provisions of standardized tests
Send preliminary rosters to principals and counselors
Responsible for training and maintenance of all forms for the Student Success Initiative
Look up testing information using Mainframe, Compass and NCS Schoolhouse
Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

SALARY: $53,824-$65,639 PAY GRADE: E4 WORK SCHEDULE: Twelve Months
